We serve the hungry, dispossessed and neglected. Although we do not deal with them directly, but it is them who we work for.

Why do it in Canada?
"When so many Muslims overseas are in greater need, why should we distribute food in Canada?"

Islam is a universal and a compassionate faith and knows no border or distinction between different people. A hungry person in Canada is just as deserving as a hungry Muslim overseas. Besides, Canada is our home and our neighbors deserve our help.

There is no shortage of poverty in Canada. United Nations report classifies one in five Canadian child as poor. These are the children of single mothers, immigrants and working poor, squeezed by high rents and low paying jobs. Many immigrant Muslim families are living in abject poverty. There are homeless Muslims in Canada.
